For quite a while (like maybe the past year!) I'd had this problem with the computer here at home: every so often, with increasing frequency, it would abruptly shut off while I was using it. Earlier this afternoon I'd managed to type in slightly over a page of "Still Waters" chapter 3 from my hard copy, but when I went to save it in Draft, my mouse stopped working! Cursor wouldn't move, and DW doesn't seem to be set up to work via arrow buttons where it counts ( Read more... )

Also rather unsettling is the discovery that ever since the last Window 10 update, I'm not hearing my music --- this could be a problem with the speakers, though. They ARE rather on the antique side of the equipment spectrum....
